LLANJ Board of Delegates Trimestral Meeting at
Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack
According to its Bylaws, the LLANJ Board of Delegates shall hold trimestral meetings in New Jersey.
LLANJ will hold its Saturday, June 25, 2016 -10am meeting at Fairleigh Dickinson University 150 Kotte Place, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
LLANJ’s members of the Board of Delegates from across the State of New Jersey will convene to discuss and advance the LLANJ agenda. Steering committees and task forces will report about several issues, including racial profiling impacting communities of color in Bloomfield, NJ, LLANJ Review of Bloomfield NJ Police Use of Force Trends, and how a media outlet television report appears to trivialize the police use of force issue.
Other reports will be about education issues, government appointments, the launching of the Latino Leadership Academy, LLANJ Gala, faith community issues and activities, and among other matters, ensuing general elections, the role of the Latino Leadership Alliance Political Action Committee (LLA-PAC), and requests from candidates for public office seeking LLA-PAC endorsement.
The public session will begin at 11:30am. Board of Delegates will listen to the public about their concerns and community issues.
