Dear Honorable Senator,
Your support for S-1607, the Urban Enterprise Zone Jobs Scholarship Act is critically needed! Please accept this urgent request for your vote in favor of the bill which is expected to reach the Senate Budget and Appropriation Committee before the end of this legislative session. S-1607 is critical for the future of our children. Presently there are tens of thousands of Black and Latino children who are required by law to attend schools that fail to educate them year after year after year. S-1607 will allow some of these children the chance to get an education that provides real opportunity in a public or private school that has a record of success rather than an established record of failure.
